Don’t DIY if you might DIE. If your screw together fittings go together like this, then you have got the wrong combination of materials or assembly procedures and that is going to leak eventually, and is a huge risk of fire. Save yourself time and money and let Dyme make crimp assembled, PTFE or rubber assemblies that we pressure test and clean before you start your car. Also if you’re using an AN/JIC fitting, you don’t need Teflon tape or paste on the thread like this one had.
